The University of Tokyo Hospital

The University of Tokyo Biodesign Division provides project management and follow-up support for researchers aiming to start up their own businesses.
As part of the consortium structure, we hold monthly progress management and directional meetings with the National Cancer Center Hospital East to provide companion support along with the researchers.
For accompaniment support, core mentors who are familiar with medical device startups are preceded by the accompaniment organization in charge of each. Advisory services are provided based on quantitative evaluation of skills that indicate the business potential and capability of the doctors who are advancing medical device development.

National Cancer Center Hospital East

The National Cancer Center Hospital East, together with the University of Tokyo, selects core mentors to provide start-up companionship support.
Among the accompaniment support, the follow-up of understanding the researchers' business potential, focusing on needs validation, pharmaceutical consultation using prior research, and intellectual property research enables stronger follow-up of researchers.
In addition, we have established a consortium system based on the premise that clinical immersion is implemented together with the University of Tokyo Hospitals as a method of research and development.
